Step 1.
Remove the trim bezel that surrounds the instrument gauges, radio, and climate control. This bezel extends all the way over to the right of the radio. Slide the ashtray out. With your hand, grab the bottom section of the bezel above the ashtray cavity. Pull toward you releasing the first bezel clip. With your hands, continue working the bezel loose all the way around the bezel reaching over to the left of the steering column releasing a total of eleven (11) clips.
NOTE: For automatic transmissions with a column shift. Set the emergency brake. Insert key and turn the ignition to the (on) position. Place transmission in low gear.

Step 2.
If the vehicle is equipped with a tilt steering wheel, move the tilt wheel to the lowest position. Grab the trim bezel with caution and remove it from the dash. Set the bezel in a safe place. Put the transmission back into park and turn the ignition off.
