2011 BMW M3 Competition Package Overview
The new range of items provided by the Competition Package for the BMW M3 is intended to further reduce the lift force, and it is realized with more aerodynamically optimized components. The Competition Package thus provides more optimized longitudinal and transverse dynamics with a lowered suspension, 9 x 19 inches light alloy wheels at the front and Y-spoke design at the rear, and a rear spoiler and front apron flaps in carbon which will be available from spring 2010.
The BMW Competition Package is also developed with the control of the electronic damper adjustment function EDC (including a Sport mode) which has been precisely adjusted to the chassis modifications by means of map-based control and the driving stability control function DSC.
