2009 MTM Audi TTRS Used and New Car Pictures

The German tuning house MTM is surely one of the most known names in the aftermarket sector, with each of the models tweaked by its engineers boasting a wide array of styling and engineering upgrades. The company’s latest contraption is the Audi TT RS, a model which is now available in a choice of three power upgrades.

Following the modifications applied by MTM, the Audi TT RS now develops a maximum output of 424 bhp, 84 bhp more than with the standard settings. Two other options are available as well, raising power to 404 and 408 bhp and 550 Nm of torque.

As for exterior styling, the German tuner adds MTM sports rims with the original BIMOTO design in 19- and 20-inch plus new spaces in 20 mm and 30 mm.

Unfortunately, pricing details are yet to be unveiled but consumers who’d like to tweak their cars using these settings are likely to pay several thousands of dollars.

For the sake of comparison, Abt also released a customized version of the TT RS that does sixty in 4.3 seconds and develops 420 horsepower. This means the car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 282 km/h.

In default form, the 2.5 TFSI engine develops a maximum output of 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque between 1,600 and 5,300 rpm. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 155.3 mph (250 km/h). As for fuel consumption, the engine burns 13.4 liters of gas every 100 kilometers traveled in the city (17.6 mpg).
