The V8 Vantage has been making headline news around the world.

Following its recent three-week launch in Tuscany, the ‘baby Aston’ has overwhelmed the world’s media. John Griffi ths, of the Financial Times, was totally won over. “It is a touch over 14ft long, just over 6ft wide, packs a 380 horsepower punch and is called the Aston Martin V8 Vantage … I have a lifelong love of 911s; few shapes are more iconic, or have endured so long. But, set against the sinuous form of the Ian Callum-styled Vantage, the 911 looks, at last, like a product approaching its sell-by date”

John Simister, writing for The Independent, described the V8 Vantage as “the most completely exhilarating and satisfying Aston Martin for years”, while The Daily Telegraph’s Andrew English wrote that it was “a gorgeous, svelte sports coupe with a wonderful engine and a great soundtrack”.
