2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Used and New Car Pictures
According to Aston Martin, the new V12 Sport model will be the most driver-oriented Vantage ever. But there is not some diet and ascetic club racer, but a functional sports car for those who truly love to drive. Biggest challenge was to accommodate the huge V12 engine in the smaller V8 Vantage chassis, but it did!

The 6.0 liter V12 engine develops a maximum 517 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum of 570 Nm at 5750 rpm – which incidentally is the same effect as provided for DBS model in 2007. Top speed of the V12 Vantage down to 305 km / h and acceleration 0-100 km / h should be harvested in 4.2 seconds. Fuel consumption is down to 16.4 l/100 km and carbon dioxide emissions are 388 g / km.

Visually, we can see that the V12 Vantage received a lot of design ideas from the Bond DBS car. Plenty of gills on the hood make sure to vent all the heat that might otherwise be a problem in the cramped engine compartment. V12 engine weighs 87 kilograms more than the V8 Vantage in common but thanks to the weight-saving measures, the total weight is not increased by more than 50 kilograms and the balance will remain at 1680 kilograms.

V12 Vantage have composite brakes Aston Martin calls the Carbon Ceramic Matrix, CCM. Discs measuring 398 mm front and 360 rear, sekolvsok front and four rear. Composite material saves twelve kilograms compared with conventional cast iron discs.

Deliveries of the V12 Vantage are expected to commence during quarter three 2009 with prices to be confirmed at the Geneva motor show.
